Lewes Children’s Book Group

Our aim, at Lewes Children’s Book Group, is to promote the enjoyment of and interest in children’s books. We have been running for nearly 40 years and organise book events with visiting authors and illustrators or storytimes; regular book swops and give children the chance to vote on the annual Children’s Book Award.

Book Swops take place every half term holiday: children and young people can bring as many books as they like to swap for different books, for free.  This popular event was set-up to give children and young people the chance to build up their home library and make adventurous book choices.
