Celebrating the Red House Children's Book Award with a party to thank all those who have taken part this year with Author/illustrator Rebecca Elliott (Just Because, Sometimes, Zoo Girl and Milo's Pet Egg)  who worked with the children for two sessions and inbetween they enjoyed party refreshments  They all left very happy clutching a party bag and their signed books!

Red House Children's Book Award

 

The short list has been announced and arrangements for the Award Ceremony are well under way, celebrating the best of children's fiction during 2011 with our Shortlisted Authors, Illustrators and Past Winners.

Visit the Red House Childrens Book Award web site to download the Top 50 Pick of the Year and posters and if you would like free bookmarks e-mail rhcba@fcbg.org.uk

There is still time to take part in the voting to decide who will be winning the coveted Award at the Imagine Festival at the South Bank in London and the web site will tell you how to take part.

And if you would like to share in the celebrations as the Overall Winner is announced and you have not been able to take part as part of a Testing Group then you can buy tickets from the South Bank web site and meet your favourite authors on the day.  Click here for more information.
