Past FCBG Chair, Adam Lancaster, named as SLA School Librarian of the Year 2012

Yesterday the immediate past Chair of the Federation of Children’s Book Groups, Adam Lancaster, was named SLA School Librarian of the Year 2012.
At a ceremony in London yesterday, Kevin Crossley-Holland, President of the School Library Association, presented the award to Adam.

Here at the FCBG we’re all tremendously proud of Adam. He’s worked tirelessly for the Federation over the last few years, with great imagination and energy, and we’re delighted his work as a school librarian has been recognised.
